Dipl.-Ing. Marc Oliver Wagner
Founder and Managing Director
marcoliver.wagner@tengilence.com
Marc Oliver Wagner graduated with distinction from the University of Stuttgart and the École Centrale Paris in 2003 in the fields of engineering cybernetics and engineering and manufacturing sciences, respectively.
During his studies Marc Oliver worked as a research assistant in various university labs and research institutes and as an intern for companies in various disciplines and sectors, both for small and medium sized companies as well as for international corporations.
For 16 years Marc Oliver has worked for a global automotive company. After projects in development, production and purchasing he spent most of his career in component and performance engineering as well as in the development of software functions for combustion engines for commercial vehicles. Both as an engineer and later as a manager he developed and supervised the development of the control of technical processes related to combustion engine and drivetrains. Since 2016 he focussed on the usage of machine learning algorithms for the automation of these control tasks.
In 2020 Marc Oliver founded Tengilence GmbH in order to support companies from all sectors in the usage of machine learning algorithms for their simulation and control engineering tasks.
Apart from his role as managing director, which includes finance, sales and human resources, Marc Oliver is the responsible head of engineering and production.
Dr.-Ing. Stephan Netzhammer
Head of Automated Prototyping
stephan.netzhammer@tengilence.com
Stephan Netzhammer received his bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and machatronics from Furtwangen University in 2012 and his master's degree in technology management from the University of Stuttgart in 2014.
During his studies Stephan worked as a tutor for various lectures and as a research assistant and intern at various research institutes and several companies ranging from medium-sized to large.
After his graduation he took the opportunity offered to him by a large automotive OEM in collaboration with the University of Stuttgart to pursue and complete his PhD thesis. The topic of his thesis was the numerical and experimental analysis of aerodynamically induced turbine blade vibrations in exhaust gas turbochargers.
For more than 7 years he has been working in the development of combustion engines for commercial vehicles. His responsibilities include the mechanical validation and release of components, efficiency improvements in component lifetime validation and the statistical prediction of the field quality.
Since September 2021 Stephan has been working for Tengilence GmbH as the head of development and production of the newly created product of automated prototyping. In addition, he acts as a challenger for the other products, i.e. he is responsible for creating algorithms that challenge the solutions found by the algorithms that automate the procedures.
B.Sc. Tarek Nema
Development Engineer for Embedded Programming
tarek.nema@tengilence.com
Tarek Nema received his bachelor's degree in electrical and electronics engineering from Mugla Sitki Kocman University, Turkey, in 2021.
During his studies Tarek worked as lab teaching assistant for various lectures and intern at several companies ranging from small-sized to medium. He was involved in projects sponsored by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBÄ°TAK).
After his bachelor studies he worked as a project engineer and an embedded system engineer in Turkey and Libya for two years, before he decided to start his master studies in electrical engineering at Stuttgart University, Germany, in 2023. His target is to become an absolute expert in what he found to be his main passion: embedded systems.
He has proven his capabilities both in his previous jobs and in various other projects and competitions. For instance, he worked on an ultrasonic obstacle detection system to assist visually impaired people and he recently won the first prize in an innovation sprint organized by Vector Informatik GmbH.
Since August 2023 Tarek has been working as a working student at Tengilence GmbH. Here, he is responsible for the programming of µ-controllers and for the automation of all related processes. Currently, he is programming Atmel and STM processors in the context of the control of stepper motors and BLDC motors for motion control.
M.Sc. Rohit Manohar Mali
Development Engineer
rohitmanohar.mali@tengilence.com
Rohit Manohar Mali received his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from SRM Institute of Science and Technology in Kattankulathur, India in 2020 and his master’s degree in computational modeling and simulation from Dresden University of Technology in Dresden, Germany in 2024.
During his studies, Rohit gained professional experience at various mid-size and large companies and worked at various departments at the university. He wrote his master’s thesis on the impact of autonomous driving on electric powertrains. He continuously focused on simulating and controlling mechanical systems, thus combining his competencies in mechanical engineering and computational modeling and control.
He has proven his capabilities in various other projects and competitions. For instance, he worked on the design and prototype of a fuel-efficient urban vehicle in the Shell Eco-Marathon Asia and on developing a model of Cable driven parallel robot to simulate robot mechanics and control the state of the robot at the Chair of Dynamics and Mechanism Design at TU Dresden.
Since April 2024, Rohit has been working as a development engineer at Tengilence, primarily focusing on customer projects in the automotive industry.
